Court on alias arrest warrant vs. Trillanes

MAKATI CITY, Philippines – The Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 148 is yet to decide on the request of the Department of Justice (DOJ) to issue an alias warrant of arrest against Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.

According to Judge Andres Bartolome Soriano, the Court has set to deliberate first on the motion of the DOJ on Thursday, September 13.

The Court has given the camp of Senator Trillanes 10 days to answer or counter the DOJ motion.

Aside from the alias warrant of arrest, the DOJ also asked the Court to issue a hold departure order against Trillanes. – JL Asayo / Marje Pelayo
